Engagements
We spend about thirty minutes on what has gone wrong, how the close runs now, and which system your records sit in. There is no charge for this conversation.
I send a short scope document listing the deliverables, the timeline and the fee before any work starts. Where the work genuinely cannot be bounded in advance, I quote an hourly rate and cap it, so the total cannot exceed a number you have already agreed to.
I work from read-only access wherever that is possible, report progress weekly, and hand over the deliverables with a record of every adjustment made and why.
